Anubis Character Sheet

This is the first character sheet I had ever done. This one is a design for Anubis. Anubis is an Egyptian God associated with the dead.

These are the preliminary sketches I did for this character. I experimented with using a different dog's head and body porportions.

I combined features that I liked from the preliminary sketches in these sketches.

I was starting to narrow in on a design that fit what I was looking for here.

This is the design I decided to go with, so to get a better understanding of the shape of the character I placed shadows down.

These are some of the colors schemes I went through. I wanted to experiment with Anubis' face not being black, contradicting the original mythology of the creature.
