Player Concept Work - Left Hook
This is the concept work for the boxer character in my Junior workshop game, Left Hook. Left Hook is a boxing fishing game combo where you fish fish up and then box them to bring them down.
These are all the concepts I worked on for player characters.
This is one of the final sketches before we settled on a design for the boxer of the game. It has a few features not carried over into the final design, such as a duck billed hat, and body hair.
These are some concepts ideas for the boxer. The idea here was to capture some different body types to use for the game. Then take what was liked in each design and combine down.
This is a character sheet detailing some of the design choices of this design. All notes were made with the intent of me being unable to join the meeting discussing the designs.
These are some basic sprites that were implemented in early development.
This is the original concept for how the game would look and what the player would see. Originally I envisioned the game to be in first person, but we switched to third person.
