Fernace - Botography

Become a botanist in Botography, a cozy 2D adventure-exploration game. Navigate an uncharted whimsical region, where plants have unique and fantastical properties. Gather materials, grow plants, and utilize their abilities to discover the mystery of the forest and the secrets that lie within.

This is my senior project at Drexel University. I was one of the main animators for the game. I had a hand in all the key plant animations for the game.
This is the bubble bulb, which is used to heat an area up or keep the player warm when applied to the player. The animation, vfx, design, almanac art and icons are all drawn by me.
I created the animation within Procreate Dreams.

This is the final animation of the fernace within the forest region. The VFX were created using shader graph.
