These two animations were created for Drexel's IT departments Video Collaboration and Production office. These were both created as possible options for an intro for an in house holiday video. They will also be used to promote the Drexel Holiday Toy Drive for 2024.
Everything was created using a mixture of watercolor paints, and then using those water color paintings as assets in the animations. For example, all of the trees were painted first, then cut out and cleaned in photoshop before being imported to After Effects.
I worked with a team to create this, and I acted as their lead. They created a good portion of the assets and assisted cleaning them. These are the two people I worked with to create these animations. Livy Guard https://www.thecandiebox.com and Brianna Cordova https://briannayc.wixsite.com/briannacordovaportfo
This is documentation I created to make sure the art style was cohesive and followed. It acted like an art bible. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yjUdxcJqphtWffpao_LIkWfT1UMf-FxtXiJTpdNbUxA/edit?usp=sharing
The music used is a royalty free holiday music track.
This one is more aligned for the toy drive itself.
This one is a more generalized happy holidays as it does not include Santa Clause. This one is intended to be used more broadly by the university.
